Simon Lai

Simon Lai is an experienced guitarist who developed a love for music at the age of 12. With over 20 years of experience, he has become a skilled musician. Simon draws inspiration from guitar legends like Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Mateus Asato and Joe Satriani. He has learned from well-respected music directors such as Jim Lim, Kenn C, Kheng Long, and Martin Tang. Simon has been fortunate enough to perform with famous Asian music industry stars including JJ Lin, By2, Ah Du, Weibird, and David Tao.

Simon's musical journey has taken him on tour with the Queen of Mandopop, Amei. During this time, he had the opportunity to play alongside renowned guitar heroes such as Lari Basilio and Takayoshi Ohmura. In addition to his skills as a guitarist, Simon is also a talented songwriter and arranger. He has contributed his creative vision to bands like AL4HA and Cynation, adding a unique touch to their sound with his original compositions and arrangements.

Simon has collaborated with various artists and renowned acts from the Asian music industry as a sessionist, allowing him to continually expand his musical horizons. His undeniable talent, passion, and ability to captivate audiences make him an extraordinary performer on any stage.
